Two places reserved for the host nation Japan will be awarded at the Asian Continental Qualification Tournament, in case that Japan has not earned qualification spots at juncture. Each NOC can only send one wrestler per weight class and cannot participate in further pre-Olympic tournaments after qualifying in its respective division.
