Every match consist of 9 bout between the 3 fencers of each team. Each bout finishes when a team richies score multiple of 5 touches.
Example 5, 10, 15 points. One bout last not more than 3 minutes. If the match ends before one team reaches 45 points winner is the team with more points.
If the score is even there was 1 minute sudden death extra-time.
The extra-time was preceded by a draw. If there is no score the draw winner wins the boat.
