Rosendahl opened in the final with 6.78 (wind +0.5), while Yorgova reached only 6.43. The Bulgarian moved into second place with 6.62w in the third round, and moved to within 1cm of Rosendahl with her next jump of 6.77 into a slight headwind (-0.5) after briefly losing second to Šuranová’s 6.67. The Bulgarian’s final effort was in the range of 6.90, but was declared a foul.
